Masterson’s Tavern , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my most recent experience at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I experienced behind its threshold was appalling and beyond comprehension .

From the moment I walked in , it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at this bar . The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of uncleaned spills and neglected washrooms filled the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , old age and illness .
